Editorial and research policy
How we verify pricing and features, handle affiliate relationships, distinguish first-hand testing from desk research and avoid low-value search content.
Make the evidence visible
Pricing, limits and product claims are checked against vendor pricing pages, help centers and product documentation. We do not describe usability, speed or migration difficulty as tested experience unless we have actually tested it.
Affiliate economics do not decide the recommendation
Affiliate links may generate revenue, but a recommendation must first explain fit, poor-fit cases, cost boundaries and alternatives. Affiliate links use the sponsored relationship; ordinary editorial citations remain normal links.
AI can assist research, but does not replace editorial responsibility
AI may help organize sources, find gaps, draft or translate. Published pages still need readable structure, verifiable evidence and concrete decision value. We do not mass-produce pages with little added value.
Multilingual does not mean translating the template only
An indexable language version needs its main content and navigation in that language. We use separate URLs and user-controlled language switching rather than forced redirects.
Who / How / Why: questions we answer before publishing
- Who: Bylines point to a real person or team identity, never a fictional expert.
- How: State where facts came from, whether first-hand testing exists, and what automation assisted.
- Why: The page must first help a reader make a decision; if its only purpose is search traffic, it is not published.
We do not rent out site reputation
Third parties cannot publish unrelated or lightly controlled pages simply to borrow qmfx.com’s search reputation. Sponsored, affiliate or vendor-supplied material must meet the same editorial standard and disclose the commercial relationship.
